LBN Newsnet Report: Two Row Houses Completed for Luigiian Project: Luigiians Continue Bitching Incessantly about Lack of Housing

Luigiville Plaza Central-On November 23rd, the finishing touches were placed on two brand-new row houses just in time for Thanksgiving, marking the official start of the Luigiian Republic Project, a four-year project which is slated to provide housing and services for an estimated 50-75% of Luigiian residents.
Residents looked to see the new structures, which towered imposingly over nearly every other structure in Plaza Central. The houses each have one-and-one-half bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and kitchen, dining and living space for four people per home.
Many residents, however, continue to bitch incessantly about lack of housing.
“I still thought Depoy said he would provide six row houses this year,” one resident said, “which was a good estimate. I love the design and think it’s an intriguing concept for Luigiville’s new urban renewal project, but it has to start faster. This has been in waiting for well over eight years. It’s time to pick up the pace.”
Currently, Luigiian Governor Justin Depoy (LR-MK-LOL) has said that he plans for at least Red and Green’s General Store to be built by the end of 2005, as well as a hoped-for fire station, and possibly rehashings for Luigiville National Bank and as many as two new row houses.
“I sure hope this picks up. I heard some estimates that it may actually take eight years, and that’ll just be too much.”
